After the phone has been unlocked, it is the customer’s obligation to ensure that it is compatible with the network that they wish to use after the phone has been unlocked.

Customers who intend to use their phone on a UK network after unlocking it should first confirm that the phone has not been reported lost, stolen, or abused by entering the IMEI into the website http://www.checkmend.com/uk before proceeding.

Once a phone has been reported as lost, stolen, or abused, it is barred/blocked in the United Kingdom and cannot be used on any network after that.


Prices and delivery times are all as stated in the quotation. Delivery times are defined by the respective networks and are subject to change.

8.1 The completion of the unlock process is communicated to the user by email notice to the email address provided. The email contains basic instructions on how to complete the unlock operation, such as connecting to iTunes.


Customers who have made an error in the provision of information regarding their phone and whose orders have been fulfilled and the unlocking procedure has been completed with the supplier will be unable to make any modifications. In this particular situation, refunds are not possible.

We will attempt to cancel any existing orders and replace them with updated order details in cases where an order has not yet been completely fulfilled and the customer has submitted erroneous information.

If we are successful in canceling the previous order, the delivery time for any subsequent orders will be calculated from the point of change, rather than from the point at which the first sale was made and processed.

We cannot guarantee that your reservation will be cancelled. If we are unable to cancel the order, the customer will be forced to place a new order with the appropriate information. In that scenario, we may issue an unlock ‘credit,’ or we may ask that a new order be placed and paid for, at our sole discretion.


In most cases, restoring your phone is not essential unless you have a jailbroken device, in which case the jailbreak must be removed first before the phone may be unlocked. We are unable to provide advice on jailbreaking a smartphone.

It is strongly recommended that customers who have a jailbroken phone prior to unlocking do so in order to ensure that all of their important data (such as their “Contacts,” “Messages,” and other data) is properly backed up (for example, synced with iTunes for iPhones) before attempting any unlocking procedure. When it comes to client data loss, we will not bear any responsibility if this occurs for any reason at all.


11.1 We will always make every effort to guarantee that all of your personal information that we collect is stored securely and in accordance with industry best practices.

11.2 Your personal information will only be retained for as long as necessary to complete your purchase order (s).

11.3 We will never disclose any of your personal information to a third party without your explicit authorization, unless it is necessary for you to complete your purchase.

13 You should submit your credit card information directly onto the secure pages of our payment provider(s) (such as PayPal or Stripe.com) or directly with our secure online resellers/retailers, rather than on our website. According to Section 12.8 of the PCI DSS, all of these companies are Level 1 Service Providers.


Any customer who engages in any sort of verbal abuse or aggressiveness toward a member of our staff, whether in vocal communication or in writing, will have their order terminated without notice. All communication with such customers will be ended, and all communications will be transferred to our legal department for review. Additionally, any such customer would renounce their ability to receive a refund in this situation.


13.1 We will not allow any attempts to gain our services by deceptive or fraudulent practices. We report any and all efforts to defraud our company to the appropriate credit reference bureaus as well as the appropriate government agencies.

In order to prevent fraud, we are required to record the IP addresses of consumer computers at each and every stage of the purchasing and delivery process. 13.2

13.3 Any efforts to defraud our organization are forwarded to our specialist Debt Collection and Fraud Department for investigation and prosecution. 14.1 If a phone is reported lost or stolen (or mistreated), it may be ‘Blacklisted’ (also known as ‘Blocked’ or ‘Barred’), which prevents it from ever being used on any of the major networks in the United Kingdom. With our services, it is not possible to determine whether or not a “SIM Locked” or “SP Locked” phone has been “Blacklisted” from a specific network or from all major networks without first carrying out the “unlock” procedure with our services.

As a result, if we do an unlock and it is later discovered that the phone has been reported as lost, stolen, or abused, we will be unable to refund your purchase. We are unable to legally make a “blacklisted” phone functional again. (See articles 5.2 and 7.1 for more information.)


15.1 L2O Media (AS) is the owner and operator of the domain name ‘LockedToOwner.com’, as well as the website that resides at the domain name and any connected information.

15.2 All third-party brands and logos are protected by the trademark registrations of their respective owners. This website is not linked with or a part of any of the network operators or phone manufacturers that are listed on our respective websites.

In the event that any data is lost as a result of attempting to unlock your phone via one of our unlocking techniques, we and our authorized resellers/retailers will not be liable for this loss.

15.4 We will not be held liable if a carrier re-locks an IMEI for any reason other than our negligence.

The conditions set forth above are in addition to your statutory rights, which are unaffected by this agreement.
